Qilu Medical College of Shandong University has four directly affiliated hospitals and several non-directly affiliated hospitals, including Basic Medical College, School of Public Health and School of Stomatology. Dominant cardiovascular diseases, reproductive medicine and pharmacy are featured disciplines, with 7 first-class disciplines with doctoral degrees, 2 professional doctoral degrees, 3 professional master's degrees and 7 undergraduate majors. There are 606 full-time teachers in the school, and 5 academicians of China Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering (including double employment).
The historical origin of the college can be traced back to the Dengzhou Literature Museum. 19 17 Chinese name changed to Christian cheeloo University; 1952, Medical College merged with Shandong Medical College to form a new Shandong Medical College; 1985 May, renamed Shandong Medical University; In July 2000, it was merged into the newly established Shandong University. The college has trained outstanding alumni from Feng Lanzhou, Hong Tao and so on.
