Amy Licar College of Art and Design, founded in 1925, is a university specializing in decorative and applied arts. It is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in British Columbia and one of the four independent art colleges in Canada. It is a world-recognized institution with innovative and outstanding style in visual arts, film and television arts and design.
