First, undergraduate course
Students who have graduated from Grade Two or Grade Three in China want to enter UTS for undergraduate study, and they must first study in the preparatory course (8- 18 months) and finish the preparatory course to meet the requirements of UTS for undergraduate study before entering the undergraduate course. For high school graduates with good grades in domestic high schools, they can directly enter the freshman course of UTS without taking the preparatory course. Students who have completed junior college courses in China should apply for the same or similar majors if they want to go to UTS for undergraduate studies, and the time spent studying at UTS will be shortened accordingly. All foreign students who go to UTS for undergraduate studies must get 6.0-6.5 points in the IELTS test. Different majors in UTS have different requirements for students who apply for the exam:
Business: Students who apply for the exam need to complete the freshman course in China or apply for the exam with the results of the college entrance examination. Students are required to score 6.0 in the IELTS test, and the score in the writing part of the test should not be lower than 6.0.
Engineering: Students who apply for the exam need to complete the freshman course in China or apply for the exam with the results of the college entrance examination. The IELTS test requires students to score 6.0, and the score in the writing part of the test should not be lower than 6.0.
Other majors: the average score of students required to apply for the exam is 75%, and the IELTS test score is required to reach 6.0, and the writing test score should not be lower than 6.0.
Second, graduate students.
Students applying for UTS postgraduate courses must have a bachelor's degree. Undergraduate grades are very important for students' admission. Students are required to submit both undergraduate diploma and degree certificate. Students are required to submit proof of study. Research graduate students must have 1-2 years of research work or published relevant papers, which need to be accepted by tutors in corresponding disciplines. Undergraduate students studying in first-class universities in China require an average score of 75%, while those studying in ordinary universities in China require an average score of 80%. The graduate students of UTS are required to score 6.5 or above in IELTS, not less than 6.0 in all parts, or 79-93 in TOEFL, including 265,438+0 in writing, or 58-64 in PTE.
