The buildings in the main campus of the University of Washington are almost all Gothic buildings and Gothic styles, and the Red Square in the central square is paved with red bricks. Suzzallo Library, a library facing the square, is a typical Gothic building: many arches are inlaid with sculptures of characters, and the doorposts and window frames are carved with complex patterns.
The stained glass windows in the reading room on the second floor will emit light blue light in the afterglow of the sunset, adding a lot of bright colors to this solemn building. Walking down the steps on the left side of the square, you will see a circular fountain, Drumheller fountain, with cherry trees planted on both sides of the road. When the weather is clear, you can see Mount Rainier in the distance.
