Shantou University has always adhered to the concept of refined training and has not expanded its enrollment. Over the years, the college entrance examination has only recruited more than 1700 people, of which 70% places are for Guangdong province, and the rest are for Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangxi, Sichuan, Zhejiang and other provinces, not for the whole country.
