Hantavirus, also known as Hantavirus, belongs to Bunyaviridae. It is a segmented negative-strand RNA virus with envelope. Its genome includes L, M and S fragments, which encode L polymerase protein, G 1 and G2 glycoprotein and nuclear protein respectively.

Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) is a natural focus disease caused by Hantavirus. It is one of the viral diseases that seriously endanger people's health, and it is a Class B infectious disease stipulated in the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.
