Participants are students from ordinary undergraduate colleges (including independent colleges) and higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province, and there are no restrictions on the number of competitions in the school. The gold content is acceptable in the provincial competition.

The Chinese Classics Reading Contest for College Students in Zhejiang Province is a large-scale discipline competition (Class A) jointly organized by the Science and Technology Competition Committee of Zhejiang University Students and the Language and Literature Working Committee of Zhejiang Province. It is a mass scientific and technological activity for college students in ordinary full-time colleges and universities in our province. Its purpose is to further promote Chinese excellent traditional culture, cultivate and practice socialist core values, improve college students' oral Chinese expression ability, lead college students to read classics, improve their language and literature literacy, and standardize the use of the national common language.
