This book is divided into seven chapters.
1 chapter and chapter 2 introduce the basic content of classical control theory. In thermal process control, PID (Proportional, Integral and Differential) controller is still dominant because of its clear principle, simple setting and rich application experience.
In chapter 3, the analysis and tuning method of PID controller single loop system is analyzed in detail, and on this basis, several complex regulating systems widely used in thermal process control are introduced, such as cascade regulating system, feedforward and feedback regulating system, decoupling control and pure lag compensation. In the thermal power department, the thermal system of thermal power units is complex, with high degree of automation, which is typical and representative.
The fourth chapter introduces the structure, analysis and setting method of the main control system of large thermal power plant units in detail.
The fifth chapter briefly introduces the architecture and development of distributed control system.
The sixth chapter introduces the state space analysis method of control system and the basic concept of optimal control.
The seventh chapter briefly introduces the main mature research results of new control ideas, strategies and algorithms.
