1. China Jinping underground laboratory is the deepest underground laboratory in the world, which was jointly built by Tsinghua University and Yalong River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., and has been built at the entrance of Jinping Tunnel in China. This basement was built to study China's physics experiments? Thirteenth Five-Year Plan? Built by scientific and technological infrastructure. After the project is completed, it will become an important national innovation platform, mainly laying the foundation for scientific investigation and popular science education in China. The purpose is to lay a solid foundation for China's science and technology, promote independent innovation in science and technology, and then improve the quality of social development and lay a solid foundation for economic development.
Second, the completion of the World Deep Physics Experimental Center is mainly to study the knowledge of physics, especially the study of dark matter, and explore the energy exploration of dark matter on the accelerated expansion of the universe through various studies such as astronomical gravitational lens and microwave background radiation. This project plays an important role in the research of new particles under the current physical standard model. The laboratory conducts dark matter research, develops methods and technologies of extremely low radiation short messages, and provides platform support for frontier issues such as particle physics research in China.
Third, several experimental platforms will be built in the next five years. Due to the great breakthrough of modern physics, some extreme experimental conditions are needed, and the extremely deep underground laboratory just provides such a platform. It provides an important research facility for the discussion of particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology. In the future, a number of experimental platforms will be built after the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan to jointly tackle key problems and promote the frontier development of physics. Among them, there are dozens of laboratories with different functions underground and above ground, realizing a new breakthrough in dark matter tracking in China.
