If you plan to go to Chongqing or the south in the future, Southwest University is the first choice. If you plan to develop in the north in the future, it will be Qilu University of Technology. There is little difference in strength between the two universities.

Southwest University, referred to as "Xida University", is located in Chongqing. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and jointly established with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Chongqing Municipality. It ranks among the national "double-first-class", "21engineering", "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" and "double-first-class" member universities of the Agricultural Federation. Selected in "11/plan", "201/plan", "Hundred Schools Project", outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, outstanding teachers training plan, national college students' innovation experiment plan, national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan and national high-level university public postgraduate plan.

Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences), located in Jinan, Shandong Province, is a key applied research university and a comprehensive natural science research institution in Shandong Province. High-level universities in Shandong Province are "first-class" universities. It is a master's degree authorized unit approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the first batch of bachelor's degree authorized units in China, and a provincial doctoral project construction unit in Shandong Province. It is the first batch of famous engineering schools with Shandong characteristics and the lead unit of "Shandong 20 1 1 Collaborative Innovation Center", and the first batch was selected into the national "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan 2.0" and "New Engineering Research and Practice Project".
