Chu Kechen Honorary College (Zhejiang University) was established in May 2000, named after Zhu Kezhen, the former president of Zhejiang University. Its predecessor was the original mixed class of Zhejiang University (Engineering) founded by 1984, and the current president is Academician Wu, President of Zhejiang University.
