World University 100 Top * *14 China University is on the list (top 200 universities in the world).

Tsinghua University ranks 23rd in the world and Peking University ranks 39th in the world. It is the only mainland university in China that has entered the top 40 list in the world. The rankings of both universities have improved compared with last year. The top universities in Chinese mainland 100 include Shanghai Jiaotong University (ranked 89th in the world) and Zhejiang University (ranked 93rd in the world).

The top ten universities in China also include University of Science and Technology of China (world ranking 102), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (world ranking 109), China Academy of Social Sciences (world ranking12) and Fudan University (world ranking1kloc-0).

Other top 200 universities in Chinese mainland are Wuhan University (world ranking 150), Hunan University (world ranking 168), Harbin Institute of Technology (world ranking 196) and Tongji University (world ranking 196).
