Because the physical quality of college students has not been fundamentally improved, the Standard requires students to study at least two lifelong physical exercise plans and develop good exercise habits through course study. In terms of physical education curriculum, the Standard stipulates that colleges and universities should offer no less than 15 sports for students to choose from, and physical education class should provide students in all classes with cardio-pulmonary exercise content of not less than 30% and score weight of not less than 30% as one of the assessment contents.
Matters needing attention in physical examination
Students' physical health test should follow the principle of safety first. Students who are physically disabled or unable to take the exam due to illness (such as heart disease, hypertension, lung disease, hepatitis, epilepsy, etc.) may apply for exemption from the exam.
Students who can't take the exam within the specified time due to minor injuries or special reasons (including colds, fever, diarrhea, menstrual period of girls, etc.) may apply for an extension of the exam and take the exam within the make-up time after passing the exam.
