Henan Polytechnic University

The predecessor of the school is Jiaozuo Road and Mine School, which was founded by British Fu Company on 1909. In 2004, it was renamed as Henan Polytechnic University after the historical periods of Fuzhong Mining School, Fuzhong Mining Institute, Fuzhong Mining University, private Jiaozuo Institute of Technology, Northwest Institute of Technology, National Jiaozuo Institute of Technology, Jiaozuo Mining Institute and Jiaozuo Institute of Technology.

As of July 2020, the school has three campuses: South Campus (No.2001Century Road, Jiaozuo City), North Campus (No.0/42 Jiefang Middle Road, Jiaozuo City) and West Campus (No.55 Jianshe West Road, Jiaozuo City), with an area of 4 100 mu and a building area of/KLOC-0.
