Inner Mongolia University is a comprehensive university integrating philosophy, economics, law, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture and management. Mongolian studies and life sciences have distinctive national and regional characteristics and enjoy high reputation at home and abroad. The school implements a management system of three-level organizational system of departments (institutes and centers) and two-level management of schools and colleges. At present, there are Mongolia College, Ethnology and Sociology College, Literature and Journalism College, History and Tourism Culture College, Philosophy College, Economics and Management College, Law School, Foreign Languages College, Public Administration College, Mathematics Science College, Physical Science and Technology College, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College, Life Science College, Computer College, Electronic Information Engineering College, Art College, Transportation College, Graduate School (to be determined) and Continuing Education College. In cooperation with the local government, Manzhouli College and Erdos College were established. The school has Mongolian Studies Center, Mongolian Language Research Institute, Mongolian History Research Institute, Modern History Research Institute, Neighbouring Countries Research Institute, Mongolian Culture Research Center, Experimental Animal Research Center, Polymer Chemistry and Mongolian Medicine Research Center, Bioengineering Center, Natural Resources Research Center, Potato Engineering Technology Research Center, Sino-US Ecological Energy and Sustainable Science Research Center, Gold Economy and Application Research Institute, National Art Research Institute and other scientific research institutions. The school's disciplines are relatively complete, covering nine disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture and management. There are two national key disciplines, namely, China minority language and literature and zoology, and the key training disciplines in the ecological state; First-class discipline 1, key discipline of two disciplines autonomous region 18, and 8 key cultivation disciplines of the autonomous region. There are 19 doctoral degree authorized disciplines in biology in our school, including 65438 doctoral degree authorized disciplines in two disciplines, 9 master degree authorized disciplines, 92 master degree authorized disciplines in two disciplines (including 5 master degree authorized disciplines), 3 postdoctoral mobile stations, 59 undergraduate majors and 12 double bachelor majors. There are 4 national bases of Mongolian language and literature, biology, life science and technology and mathematics, 2 training bases of basic scientific research and teaching talents at autonomous region level, and 1 national cultural quality education base for college students. At present, the school has established the key laboratory of grassland ecology in Inner Mongolia-the national key laboratory cultivation base, the key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education-the Mongolian Studies Research Center of Inner Mongolia University, the key laboratory of mammalian reproductive biology and biotechnology of the Ministry of Education, the key laboratory of forage and characteristic crop biotechnology of the Ministry of Education, and the Mongolian literature information center of the Ministry of Education. There are 9 key laboratories in the autonomous region, 2 engineering technology research centers in the autonomous region, and 2 key research bases of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in the autonomous region. The school is mainly engaged in full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education, with general higher education, vocational and technical education, continuing education, education for foreign students and other education systems, and doctoral, master's, undergraduate and higher vocational education levels.
