All universities with marine engineering and marine engineering in China.
Mainly introduce you to the key undergraduate schools with this major, and briefly talk about others.

Firstly, it is clear that ship and ocean engineering is a first-class discipline, which consists of three two disciplines: ship engineering/ocean engineering, marine engineering and underwater acoustic engineering.

Firstly, the major of ship and ocean engineering is introduced:

1 Shanghai Jiaotong University

Located in Shanghai, an international shipping center city, China shipbuilding industry established universities have obvious location advantages. Coupled with Shanghai's ability to attract talents, Jiaotong University has been the leader of shipbuilding colleges in recent decades. Although Dalian University of Technology has grown a lot in recent years by virtue of its proximity to Japan and South Korea, and the recognition of students in the industry is increasing day by day, it may take some time to shake the top spot of Jiaotong University.

Harbin Engineering University

Inherited most of the possessions of Harbin military industry, the school's current focus on the development of "three seas and one nuclear" (shipbuilding industry, naval equipment, marine development, nuclear energy application) has extraordinary strength. Military products are Harbin Institute of Technology's strong point. They are not only famous for the first experimental submarine, the first hydrofoil, the first shipboard computer, the first set of strip bathymeter and other dozens of major scientific research achievements that fill the gaps in China, but also won the first place in the world with achievements such as double submersible, hovercraft and gradient sound velocity instrument. It has gradually become one of the main forces in the basic and applied research of ship science and technology in China, and also one of the key units in the research and development of advanced naval technology and equipment, so its research funds have been continuously flowing. The research and development of various civil high-tech ships also maintains a strong technical reserve, and underwater robots, ship anti-rolling, integrated navigation, underwater acoustic positioning, nuclear power simulation and other technologies are in a leading position at home or abroad. In addition, because Harbin, a northern country, is far less attractive to talents than the economically developed eastern coastal cities, there is a shortage of talents. However, in recent years, the publicity of the school has increased, and the development speed is quite amazing. The strength is similar to that of Jiaotong University, and it is reasonable to rank second at present.

Dalian University of Technology

After 2000, the shipbuilding specialty of Dalian University of Technology rose suddenly. Today's good development momentum should be said to be the inherent pride of the college's international development strategy-students went to Japan for internship at the undergraduate level and had extensive and in-depth cooperation and exchanges with shipbuilding universities in Japan and South Korea. We are proud of Dalian's geographical location and the general trend of the international shipbuilding industry shifting from Japan and South Korea to China. Although there is no glorious history like Jiaotong University and Harbin Ship, it has a strong development momentum and a promising time.

4 Wuhan University of Technology

The shipbuilding specialty of Wuhan University of Technology can be traced back to 1946, and 1952 was transferred to Shanghai Jiaotong University. 1958 Reconstruction and Department Adjustment of the Ministry of Communications 1963, the shipbuilding department of Dalian Maritime University (now Dalian Maritime University) moved to Wuhan as a whole and merged with the shipbuilding department of Wuhan Maritime Engineering College at that time. From the early 1980s to the mid-1990s, due to the busy inland navigation of the Yangtze River, the shipbuilding department of Wuhan Institute of Technology (then Wuhan Waterway Engineering College) was once prominent, and it can be said that it was second only to Shanghai in the design and development of civilian products. A group of backbone teachers enjoyed a high reputation in the shipbuilding industry in China at that time. Although the shipbuilding specialty of Wuhan University of Technology is not as famous as it was then, it still has a dominant position in the inland river market and has distinctive characteristics in high-performance ships. Although it is located inland, there are design and research institutes in South China and East China. If the school can be more open and more powerful in management, I believe that it is just around the corner to reproduce its glory.

Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Compared with other majors, the shipbuilding department of Huake has not been very impressive, and there are few proud achievements after it was established in the 1970s. Now the development pattern of the shipbuilding department of the school is obvious, and no one has taken over the fluid sector since Shi Zhongyu. Teachers do many non-ship projects, and ship projects mainly cooperate with 70 1 Institute and 7 19 Institute. Because the school is stronger, students are still more popular. In fact, Wuhan Institute of Technology and Huake have always been intransigent, but in terms of teachers, school attention and testing facilities, Huake's shipbuilding is slightly inferior.

6 Tianjin University

The Department of Ship and Ocean Engineering of Tianjin University belongs to the School of Architecture and Engineering, which is divided into two directions: ship engineering and ocean engineering. It is also one of the few institutions engaged in ocean engineering in China with relatively rich background. However, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture is more specialized in port and shipping. All three academicians are from port and shipping, and the unit to be recruited is also from port and shipping. Tianda shipbuilding is not only rarely mentioned in the domestic shipbuilding industry, but also neglected in schools. Ranked sixth should be reasonable.

7 Jiangsu University of Science and Technology

Although the shipbuilding major is the school's ace major, although Zhenjiang Shipyard used to be a public institution of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, there are still two books in the school (probably one in Jiangsu Province), and there is no doctoral program in shipbuilding. The strength is not the same as that of the previous school, and it is temporarily at the bottom.

Of course, there is also the Naval Engineering University of the Navy, which is also quite good.

There should be only these traditional shipbuilding colleges. In addition, China Ocean University, Harbin Institute of Technology Weihai Branch, China Youshi University, Dalian Ocean University, Dalian Maritime University (Dalian Maritime is strong in navigation and marine engineering, don't get me wrong), Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Jimei University and other junior colleges and technical schools will not be arranged. These schools are only average in this major and have little influence in the industry.

Marine engineering major:

The best is of course Dalian Maritime University.

Followed by Harbin Engineering University and Wuhan Engineering University.

Then Shanghai Maritime, Yantai University, tianjin polytechnic university, Hebei University of Technology, Jimei University, Zhanjiang Ocean University, Ningbo University, Shandong Jiaotong University and so on.
