Dongguan University of Technology is the first city-based undergraduate college in Dongguan, with Dr. Yang Zhenning, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, as honorary president.
The school has two campuses, Songshan Lake and Guancheng, among which Songshan Lake Campus is located atNo. Daxue Road 1 in Songshan Lake High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of 1800 mu (including 370 mu of international cooperation and innovation zone). Guancheng Campus is located at No.251Xueyuan Road, Guancheng District, covering an area of more than 330 mu.
There are 1 732 faculty members, including 1 732 with full senior titles, 387 with associate senior titles and 797 doctors.
There are nearly 20,000 ordinary full-time students and more than 20,000 continuing education students. Up to now, about 6.5438+0.2 million local talents have been trained, and about 80% of the graduates have stayed in Dongguan for employment and entrepreneurship.
There are seven experimental teaching centers 17, including provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers 10. A discipline and professional system with engineering as the mainstay and coordinated development of management, literature, science, economics, law and teaching has been established. There are 20 colleges and 59 undergraduate majors.
Among them, communication engineering, social work, software engineering, electronic information engineering, mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, computer science and technology, applied chemistry, environmental engineering, business administration, energy and power engineering, international economy and trade, industrial engineering, automation, accounting, etc. 14 was selected as the national first-class professional construction site.
