Longgu University, located in Kyoto, Japan, is a comprehensive private university, founded in 1639. Formerly known as Xueliao and Xihongan Temple, it is a university established in Kyoto by Hongan Temple School, a pure land of Japanese Buddhism. The name of "Dragon Valley" may come from the 14th generation of Hong 'anji, and the plaque of this mountain is hung in the Buddhist temple (the word "Dragon Valley" refers to the place where this temple is close to Lu 'an). In the 11th year of Dazheng (1922), it was approved by the University Decree and renamed as Gulong University. The first president was Suzuki Chen Fa, who had a research department, a literature department, a pre-university department and a special department. In the twenty-fourth year of Showa (1949), it was changed into a new university, and short-term universities, university monk courses and doctoral courses were added one after another.
