Yan Chai Hospital was formerly known as London Church Hospital. This hospital is associated with the name of an English missionary Yang-1861year. Seven years later, the missionary moved the clinic and medical skills to Tanhualin and expanded it into; 1883 officially changed its name to Yan Chai Hospital. The building of the hospital is a brick-wood structure that combines Chinese and Western styles, with both Renaissance-style colonnades and China-style sunken cloisters. The relief patterns of stone arches attached to the building are also very unique.

This building is unique in the whole province, and it is the earliest and longest-used chapel in Hubei campus. During the Revolution of 1911, Liu Jingan, Hu Lanting, David Z. T. The library in the annex of Wenhua Public Library (Wenhua University)
The library is located at Tanhualin 138- 139. It was built around 1920. It is a square three-story brick-wood building, facing south. It's across the street, facing the (demolished) gate of Xia Douyin House. The building was originally the library of Wenhua University Public Library, the earliest public library in Wuhan, Hubei Province, and an excellent historical building protection unit. Former site of the third hall of the Political Department of the Military Committee of the National Government
Located in Wuhan No.14 Middle School, it is an early school building in China. 1938, with the cooperation of the state, the political department moved to Wuhan, and three pavilions were established, with Guo Moruo as the director and Zhou Enlai, the vice minister of the political department, as the direct leader, bringing together more than 300 cultural elites. At that time, most of the houses in the three pavilions had been destroyed, leaving only a two-story building with brick and wood structure, which was the staff housing of that year.

Yu Ying Tang Wanying Tomb
Located at No.2 Huayuanshan, it was built in 1928, and it is a brick-wood structure. The church was founded by Bishop Silvestes and presided over by a German lady. It began to send babies out of the hall and hired a wet nurse to take care of them, with a high survival rate. It will continue to develop in the future and be raised in class. 1929, the Sisters of Charity of St. John was established, and its main job was to manage this nursery. Located at No.75 Tanhualin, it was built around 1895. It is a two-story brick door structure, and the original structure and form have been greatly changed.
Evolution: It was originally the residence of Weng Shouqian, a Beiyang navy master in the late Qing Dynasty. 1895 or so, and now it is a private residence.
Weng Shouqian is from Fujian. He was an official of Beiyang Navy. Many brothers died in the Sino-Japanese War. As a surviving Weng Gong, he later gave up his official position to live in seclusion here and devoted himself to practicing Buddhism, probably in order to seek a long-term peace of mind.
Former site of Swedish parish 1890
At the entrance of an arch, the house in the alley can see the old outline of the house. These buildings are all two-story and four-story brick-wood structures. At that time, the Christian Swedish Roadway Association founded the Swedish parish, and established the Hubei General Association in Wuhan, where the resident was chosen.

Shiying former residence

Puyuan
Park Garden is the former residence of Qian Jibo (the father of Qian Zhongshu), a famous master of Chinese studies and educator.
Park Garden was born in 1936, which is one of the newly-built apartments of private Huazhong University (now Huazhong Normal University). Its first owner was an American professor with blue eyes and a hooked nose. At that time, there were nearly 100 small buildings similar to park gardens. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it once became the Japanese military police headquarters, and the room was also changed into a Japanese porch that can be pushed and pulled; In 1946, Qian Jibo entered this small building and became one of them, where he spent the last 1 1 year of his life. After Qian Jibo's death, it gradually became a dormitory for students and faculty. At most, there were more than 20 families living on two floors.
The room where Qian Jibo lived was transformed into an "art salon". Nowadays, under the background of dark brown, elegant tables and chairs are in harmony with wild reed wormwood, and the original fireplace echoes antique ceiling fans and windows. Here, the elegance of art pays tribute to the vicissitudes of history, and their love at first sight immediately shows infinite elegance in generate. Teachers and students are happy to immerse themselves in the atmosphere created here. A professor of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts once said: "Teachers and students often forget the time when they talk about art here."
At the entrance of the small building, 300-year-old Pu Shu is shaded, and the windows are dyed green. On March 4th, 2005, Qian Jibo's former residence was rated as the first-class protected building project in the second batch of excellent historical buildings catalogue published by Wuhan Municipal Government.
Xu villa
The villa is located at Tanhualin 14 1 (it is recognized that Xu Mansion is located in Xinzhou, Wuhan, not this villa). There are three existing buildings, built around 1930. Building A is a western-style (French villa) double-storey building, building B is a Chinese single-storey building, building C is a Chinese brick-concrete palace building, and there is a glazed tile hexagonal pavilion in the middle of the mountain. The three buildings are well protected. These three buildings are all Xu Zai's real estate. Before the Cultural Revolution, it was used by the Victory Art Troupe of Wuhan Military Region, and now it is the family hospital of Armed Police Hospital. The diocese is an Italian and English Catholic diocese, located at the top of the garden south of the middle section of Tanhualin Street. It is the largest cultural relic area with the largest number of buildings among all the historical sites in Tanhualin. Currently, there are four religious buildings. First, Kanosa Chapel, located on the west side of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was built at1888; Second, 1880, with the Bishop's office building designed and built by Italian Bishop Chengde Jiang; The third is Huayuanshan Catholic Church, which was built in 189 1. From the left side of Rouge Road, which crosses Huayuan Mountain, up the mountain and along the path of the residential area of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, after many twists and turns, an old dilapidated house stands alone in the ruins.
