Suqian College is located in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, by the Guhuang River. It was established with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in June 2002. It is a public and private university, which was approved to be established on June 20 10, 1 year, but it has not been filed with the Ministry of Education by the end of May 20 13. Suqian College is jointly funded by Suqian Municipal People's Government and eight provincial universities in the province, with the support of Jiangsu Provincial Government in terms of policies and funds, and eight universities serve as college presidents. The eight universities in the province are Suzhou University, Nanjing Normal University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing University of Technology, Xuzhou Normal University, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics and Nanjing Institute of Technology. Eight universities are responsible for teaching different majors and disciplines and providing graduation certificates. It seems that there is no real Suqian College. Diplomas should also be issued by joint universities, which is estimated to be similar to independent colleges.
