Nie Liqiang, born in 1980s, is a doctor and postdoctoral fellow at the National University of Singapore, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong University, and the president of Shandong Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He was selected into the "Changjiang Scholar Award Program" of the Ministry of Education, and then left Shanda.

Nie is currently the Executive Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology. Giving the dialogue robot the ability to perceive, understand and reason multi-modal scenes, thus making human-computer interaction more natural, won the Green Orange Award of Dharma Institute in 2020.
