Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as "Tsinghua") is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "Double First Class", "985 Project" and "21/project" and is selected as "201/plan".

As well as Asian University Alliance, Pacific Rim University Alliance, China-Russia Comprehensive University Alliance, Tsinghua-Cambridge-MIT Low-carbon University Alliance, and China High-level Talent Training and Science and Technology Research Base, it is known as the "cradle of red engineers".

2. Southeast University

The school started from Sanjiang Normal School founded by 1902, and then went through important development periods such as Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, National Southeast University and National Central University. During the period of 1952, the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted and the departments of arts and sciences moved out. The former School of Engineering of National Central University was merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and Jinling University, and Nanjing Institute of Technology was established in the original site of National Central University. In May 1988, the school was renamed Southeast University.

In April 2000, the former Southeast University, Nanjing Railway Medical College and Nanjing Jiaotong University merged, and Nanjing Geological School merged to form a new Southeast University.

3. Tianjin University

Tianjin University, formerly known as Beiyang University, was approved by Emperor Guangxu in 1895, and Sheng Xuanhuai was the first inspector. It imitates the American university model and studies western learning comprehensively and systematically. It is the first modern university in China and the first university of modern higher education in China. 195 1 Beiyang University merged with Hebei Institute of Technology and changed its name to Tianjin University.

5. Former Harbin Jianzhu University (merged into Harbin Institute of Technology)

198 1 year, approved by the State Council, the school became the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. 1994, approved by the former State Education Commission, was renamed Harbin Jianzhu University, which is one of the eight famous old schools in China. Before the merger, the school occupied an area of 7 12 mu, with a building area of 2998 13 square meters and a total of 1620 faculty members. In 2000, Harbin Jianzhu University merged with Harbin Institute of Technology, and the school was named Harbin Institute of Technology.

6. South China University of Technology

South China University of Technology, formerly known as South China University of Technology, can be traced back to the first-class industrial school in Guangdong Province established in 19 18, and was formally established in 1952, which is an adjustment of colleges and departments in universities across the country.

Based on the engineering departments and majors of Sun Yat-sen University, South China United University, Lingnan University and Guangdong Institute of Technology, they were transferred to some engineering departments and majors of Hunan University, Zhonghua University in Wuchang, Wuhan Jiaotong University, Nanchang University and Guangxi University. It is one of the four major engineering colleges in New China. 1960 became a national key university; 1988 was renamed South China University of Technology.

7. Former chongqing jianzhu university (merged into Chongqing University)

The school was founded on1929; 1942 to become a comprehensive university; 1952 was reorganized into a multidisciplinary university focusing on engineering; 1960 was identified as a national key university; 1998 became the key construction university of "2 1 1 project".

In 2000, the former chongqing jianzhu university and Chongqing Architecture Colleges merged with Chongqing University to form a new Chongqing University. 200 1 was included in the "985 Project" key construction universities; 20 17 was selected as a world-class university construction university.

8.Xi University of Architecture and Technology

The school can be traced back to Beiyang University as early as 1895. 1956 During the third adjustment of national colleges and universities, the school was formed by the merger of the departments of architecture, civil engineering and municipal engineering of Northeast Institute of Technology, Northwest Institute of Technology, Qingdao Institute of Technology and Sunan Institute of Technology, and was named Xi 'an Institute of Architecture and Engineering.

1959 and 1963 were renamed as Xi 'an Institute of Metallurgy and Xi 'an Institute of Metallurgical Architecture. 1994 March, with the approval of the former State Education Commission, it was renamed Xi 'an University of Architecture and Technology; The graduate school was established on 20 1 1.
