The application qualifications for research-oriented postgraduate courses are as follows:

The English proficiency requirements of the applicant are as follows:

1, TOEFL: the online test is not less than 79 points; The written test is not less than 550 points;

2. IELTS (academic): the average score is not less than 6.5 points;

3. Graduate Management Science Entrance Examination GMAT: Chinese is not less than 21;

4. After completing the degree course with English as the medium of instruction, the Graduate School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) may require the applicant to provide additional supporting documents to prove his English level;

5. Get qualified scores in English subjects in the following examinations:

Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (AS Level);

Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination;

6. Grade 4 or above in English in HKDSE examination.

Instructions for applying for extended information

Scanned copies of education/vocational qualification certificates (such as university graduation certificate, examination certificate and other qualification certificates).

2. Official transcripts (including complete records of course and exam results) and scanned copies of all evaluation criteria for university study. When necessary, the university has the right to require the applicant to submit the original transcript.

3. Applicants need to submit confidential letters of recommendation from two referees:

Fill in the information of two referees through the online application system of postgraduate courses, and the system will automatically send an email requesting to write a recommendation letter to the referees; Or ask the recommender to write a letter of recommendation and mail it to the relevant course office before the deadline (batch) of course application.

4. Any of the following certificates to prove that your English language ability has met the application requirements of relevant courses:

1. A certified copy of the results report of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (AS level), or the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination, or the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or the English Section of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Entrance Examination;

2. A scanning diploma issued by a university in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country;

3. A scanned copy of the original valid official transcripts of TOEFL (university institution code B429), IELTS (academic) or GMAT (university institution code N8N). Please note that some testing institutions will no longer accept transcripts after a certain period of validity.

4. Scanned copies of certified professional qualification certificates obtained in Hong Kong or English-speaking countries *. Different courses may accept different vocational qualification certificates, please contact their respective course offices.

5. The certified copy must be issued by an official institution or relevant testing institution. The university may require the applicant to provide the original transcripts for verification.

5. A scanned copy of the ID card or other identification documents mentioned in the application process. Please note that applicants in Chinese mainland should apply with their ID cards. Otherwise, you will not be able to register with the Ministry of Education.

6. The special application materials listed by the relevant course office in the postgraduate enrollment information.

Seven, when necessary, the university may require the applicant to submit supplementary information or documents.
