Opening remarks:

Dear students, hello, I'm your, head teacher, XX. Welcome to join our XXX class group. As a class teacher, I prefer to spend four years in college with you as friends.

Next, I'll tell you two things: safety and study.

1. Safe

Many of our classmates here may be leaving their parents for the first time, leaving the familiar environment before. Whether you like it or not, from now on, we should start to be independent, gradually, and no longer rely on our parents.

The first important thing is safety.

The premise of everything we do is: safety first. From now on, we should cultivate safety awareness and learn to protect ourselves.

1. 1 financial security

There will be no pie in the sky.

1) Cheap goods are not good, and good goods are not cheap.

2) Free seems to take advantage, in fact, the cost of free is higher. All money transactions must be cautious. Always rely on your own efforts to get what you want.

1.2 personal safety

1) Go out with friends and classmates as much as possible, avoid going home late or even staying out at night, and don't wander around.

2) Dare to safeguard your rights and interests when encountering problems.

I hope you can adjust your mood as soon as possible, make new friends and adapt to the new environment.

study

Speaking of learning, everyone may have heard of calluses.

I'm not talking about studying for the exam, but from now on, you have entered the university. University is no longer just a school, you can regard it as a transitional period to enter the society.

That is, from a small group to a particularly large society.

In these four years, you should not only learn professional knowledge, but also learn how to better integrate into this society.

Although college time is richer and more time is at your disposal, no matter what you do with it, you must start to reflect. You must know what you are doing. Does what you do help you adapt to society and your growth?

Pay attention to observation, in fact, everything is learning:

1) independent thinking: only the test paper has a standard answer, but many things are either black or white. You can learn to question and see things from different angles.

2) Be a man: After four years, you will have to face colleagues, bosses, social disrespect and so on. How to get along with everyone? How to integrate? We need to learn from experience.

3) Take responsibility: You are not only yourself, but also a member of your family, class and company. When you take on more roles, you should learn to take on more responsibilities.

4) Learn to be grateful. Only by learning to be grateful, will you find that many things are not taken for granted, and you will learn to respect everyone and be respected by more people.

2.2 Recognize the reality

2.2. 1 same starting line

Everyone is on the same starting line again.

You have the same time 4*365=48 months = 1400 days. Have the same teaching resources.

However, after four years, everyone's harvest is different. When you step out of the university campus again and face the society, some people will be very passive, but others will be very active, because everyone's accumulated ability is different, and his choice will definitely be different after entering the society.

Don't think four years is a long time. Didn't you walk through those extremely long three years in high school?

2.2.2 Learn to build your own competitiveness.

1) core competitiveness. Be sure to learn professional knowledge well and specialize in it, because you must have a skill.

2) Multidimensional competitiveness. You can get a certificate, participate in social practice, read extracurricular books, and learn skills according to your hobbies. All these will help to improve your competitiveness.

In short, you should have your own competitiveness, that is, you can do what others can't do and everyone can do, and you can do better! We encourage each other and make progress together!
