Advanced mathematics and linear algebra are relatively independent. Advanced mathematics needs some knowledge of linear algebra (not much), and linear algebra needs some knowledge of advanced mathematics (not much). Relatively speaking, the connection between advanced mathematics and middle school is natural, while linear algebra is abstract. Epistemologically speaking, the development history of calculus is earlier than that of linear algebra, so there are sufficient reasons to learn advanced numbers first.
However, due to the long learning period of high numbers, the learning period of linear algebra is short. Therefore, some colleges and universities will disregard the laws of epistemology and give the course "Linear Algebra" to people with particularly strong learning ability.
