Northwest University is a new type of university established by 19 12 on the basis of established schools such as Shaanxi University of Higher Learning and Shaanxi School of Political Science and Law. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Beiping University, Beiping Normal University and Beiyang Institute of Technology moved to Shaanxi and established xi 'an Temporary University. There are 6 colleges and 24 departments of arts and sciences, law and business, education, industry, agriculture and medicine. 1938 moved to southern Shaanxi in March, and changed its name to Northwest United University in April.

1939 In August, Northwest Associated University was renamed as National Northwest University. /kloc-moved back to Xi' an in the summer of 0/946, and established the Fourth Hospital of Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, School of Law and Business, and Medical College 15 Department.
