Admission notice is a kind of notice issued by colleges and universities to candidates approved by provincial education authorities after enrollment is over. The admission notice must generally indicate the applicant's name, ID number, college entrance examination number, admission batch, subject category, admission major and registration time, and affix the official seal of the admission university. It must also be stated that "our school is an ordinary institution of higher learning with higher education enrollment qualifications approved by the Ministry of Education".

On August 4, 2020, the Ministry of Education and the State Post Bureau jointly issued the "Notice on Further Improving the Delivery of Admission Notices for Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2020", which put forward clear work requirements for local education and postal departments, universities and postal enterprises, and ensured the safety, timeliness and accuracy of delivery of admission notices from many aspects, such as standardizing delivery management, ensuring accurate delivery, optimizing freshman services, and doing well in epidemic prevention and disinfection.
