Radio and TV University belongs to the abbreviation of Central Radio and TV University. It is a new university based on the Central Radio and TV University and local radio and TV universities, supported by modern information technology, covering urban and rural areas throughout the country, paying equal attention to academic education and non-academic education, facing all members of society and without walls.

Now RTVU has changed its name to the National Open University, and it is registered twice a year, which is divided into spring enrollment and autumn enrollment.
