Hello, everyone, one year has passed in a hurry, and it's time for a second interview, which is the last key step in the postgraduate entrance examination. I participated in the re-examination of ancient Chinese in 2006 and 2007, and was finally admitted as a graduate student in 2007. Today, I will rely on some memories to talk about the re-examination of ancient Chinese major courses in the first two years, hoping to help the latecomers.
The re-examination of ancient Chinese is divided into written examination and interview.
I think the topics of the written test and the interview are roughly alternately examined every year, which means that the topics of the written test this year may involve the interview, and vice versa. So when you are preparing, you'd better prepare each topic from two aspects: written test and interview, so as to be prepared.
Let's recall the retaken questions in 2006 and 2007.
First, written test:
1 Dictate a pre-Qin work of at least 80 words. Pay attention to the accuracy of words and punctuation, and the number of words. )
Give you a passage of classical Chinese, translate it first, then explain its linguistic point of view, or explain what language phenomenon it reflects. I forgot that paragraph. You can't find it in the general selection. Then let's play. )
3 Introduce and comment on Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu (or Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu). I don't remember clearly. I need to prepare both of them and comment on their advantages and disadvantages. )
Briefly introduce a monograph you have read. (that is, the ancient Chinese monograph you have read. If you don't have time to read this book, choose a book and collect its book reviews, so that you can get a general understanding of its main content and chapter arrangement, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. This question tests a student's knowledge and research ability. When answering questions, you should have your own opinions appropriately. The "own opinion" here is actually what you learned from the general book review and became the conclusion. Don't talk about it arbitrarily. Just use words like "I think" or "We think". )
Give you a paragraph in white, punctuation and translation.
I'll give you a note for you to translate and explain some terms of exegetics. Such as "reading like", "reading if", "breaking reading" and "sound training".
I'll give you some fonts of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, seal script and official script for you to write in regular script. This is the first question in the written test in 2007, and many people didn't write a few. Therefore, when reading a book, people should pay more attention. There are many in Qiu Xigui's Outline of Philology. )
In the written test in 2007, I also got the narrative of "explaining words by writing": "The ancients were the kings of the family, and the world was also …". Can you tell me what linguistic views Xu Shen embodied in the text? This is more difficult, I can only answer as many as possible.
Supplement: The above eight points are not in order, and not all of them may be admitted, but you should be prepared in the review. Generally speaking, a written test paper should involve philology, exegetics, phonology and grammar.
Second, the interview:
Be confident in the interview, answer the questions loudly and take your time. But don't be overconfident and become conceited. Teachers in Beijing Normal University are very modest and like practical and modest students.
The first is a simple self-introduction, including name, graduation institution, application direction and so on.
Then select the topic. The question is written on some small pieces of paper. Each piece of paper has one question, and it takes about 20 minutes to answer three questions.
The topic of ancient Chinese is:
1 What are six books? Talk about your views on the traditional six books.
Comment on Shuo Wen Jie Zi (or Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu, I forgot).
3 What is a variant? what do you think of it ?
4 What are differentiated characters, ancient and modern characters? What other words are there for you to distinguish? Tell me.
What are these four phones? There are also some topics of noun explanation, but you are not required to briefly introduce them. Instead, after explaining the basic concepts, talk about the research situation of this issue in past dynasties or at present.
6 the difference between borrowing leave and borrowing leave.
7 What ancient Chinese books have you read? Give a brief introduction and talk about your own views. I'm talking about Qiu Xigui's Outline of Philology, including the main content, chapter setting, evaluation, comparison with similar books, such as China Philology and so on.
In 2005, I also took an examination of reciting ancient Chinese. It can be seen that interview and written examination are interlinked.
Check whether you pay attention to the research of a certain problem in Beijing Normal University. I forgot the specific topic, so I'd better pay more attention to the research trends of Beijing Normal University and see the academic views of academic leaders of Beijing Normal University.
Supplement: Re-examination is a deep excavation of basic questions, and it is necessary to make serious and in-depth preparations for basic and simple questions in the initial examination. For example, we all know the origin of Liu Shu, Xu Shen's definition of Liu Shu, and the division of four bodies and two functions in Qing Dynasty. But is the division of Liu Shu really scientific, and does it really adapt to the actual situation of Chinese characters? There are three books besides six. Do you understand everything? These are the excavation and expansion of basic problems.
The interview time is * * * 20 minutes, three questions, and each question is answered for five minutes. You can say a lot, so you must be fully prepared.
At the beginning of the interview, remember to say hello to the teacher; Remember to say thank you teacher at the end, goodbye. Basic greetings and greetings are necessary. Besides, it is not surprising to be polite to many people.
To sum up, when you are preparing for the second interview, you should at least read Wang Ning's Ancient Chinese again and master the book review of a monograph.
All of the above are based on the memories of the re-examination questions in 2006 and 2007, which is definitely incomplete. I hope it will help you review for the exam. I wish everyone can get good grades and become our younger brothers and sisters as soon as possible, waiting for the arrival of your!
