Different universities have different tuition fees. Take Zhengzhou University as an example. The tuition fee for literature and history majors is 4,400 yuan/year, for science and engineering majors, 5,000 yuan/year or 5,700 yuan/year (see Zheng Da Admissions Network for details), 5,000 yuan/year for sports majors, 6,300 yuan/year for medical majors and 8,000 yuan/year for art majors.

According to the documents of Guo Fa [2002] No.324, Guo Fa [2003] No.272 and Guo Fa [2003] No.2225, the standards of school accommodation fees are 400 yuan/year, 600 yuan/year, 750 yuan/year, 800 yuan/year and 15 respectively.

The medical education of Zhengzhou University originated from 1928, the Fifth National Sun Yat-sen University, and 1952, Henan Medical College was established independently, which opened a precedent for medical higher education in Henan. The former Zhengzhou University, founded in 1956, is the first comprehensive university founded in New China. The 1 1 project is listed in the national "2 1996 project".
