Shandong University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as Shandong University of Science and Technology) is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning sponsored by Shandong Provincial People's Government and headed by Shandong Provincial Department of Education. It is the "National University Science Park" and "College Students' Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Practice Base" jointly recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education. The school is the first batch of universities' scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer bases determined by the Ministry of Education.

The school is located in Qingdao, with Party Secretary Luo and President Zeng Qingtian. The motto of this school is "seeking novelty but not being realistic". By 2022, Shandong University of Science and Technology will be ranked 123 in China University of Soft Science in 2022.

Introduction of Shandong University of Science and Technology:

In September 2022, official website showed that the school has three campuses, namely Qingdao, Tai 'an and Jinan, with a total area of more than 3,500 mu and a building area of 1.38 million square meters. There are 33 teaching units and 5 scientific research units. There are 9 mobile stations for postdoctoral research, including 10 for doctoral degree, 3 1 1 for master degree, 19 for master degree and 97 for undergraduate majors.

There are 1 national key (cultivation) disciplines, 1 national key laboratory cultivation bases built by provincial departments, 2 national and local joint engineering research centers, 1 national engineering laboratories, 26 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 8 characteristic specialties and comprehensive reform pilot specialties, and more than 3,300 faculty members.
