It has been five years since the first batch of 17 National Curriculum Reform Experimental Zone implemented the new senior high school entrance examination in 2004. In 2009, all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions began to fully implement the new senior high school entrance examination. The change of senior high school entrance examination mode has changed the traditional junior high school teaching mode and effectively cooperated with the new curriculum reform in junior high school.
Although the new senior high school entrance examination has been popularized all over the country, there are still some misunderstandings about how to deal with the new senior high school entrance examination and grasp its laws. This can be seen from the analysis report written by the research group of junior high school graduation examination proposition project in the national curriculum reform experimental area of the Ministry of Education.
