Chang 'an University, located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a national "double-class" construction university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, and a national "2 1 1 project" key university.
