Change the class to online, and change the job search to online. Many college students are experiencing the longest closed time at school. Although they failed to enjoy themselves, these young students refused to "lie flat" and tried to confront the uncertainty caused by the epidemic with a busy and positive attitude.
When some people walk out of the campus, it is already summer, and more people are still sealed in the campus. In addition to the gradually recovering cities, they are greeted by severe employment situation and anxiety about future uncertainty.
The following are the self-reports of two Shanghai college students:
Refuse to "lie flat" and fight the epidemic with a busy and upward attitude.
Chen Xu, Fudan University
Since March 13, the school has entered a quasi-closed state, which is my first experience in my study and life.
At first, we stayed in the dormitory most of the time. When eating, I will go to the canteen to cook through the passage surrounded by two ropes, and then take it back to the dormitory to eat, so that I can't eat in class. Later, the epidemic prevention situation became more and more severe, and we entered a state of staying indoors. Three meals a day are taken downstairs by volunteers, and a representative from each dormitory is sent down to get meals.
During this period, all courses were conducted in the form of online courses, which seemed relaxed, but put forward higher requirements for our concentration and self-discipline. At first, my efficiency was very low, and my learning effect was not as good as usual. Fortunately, after timely self-adjustment, my learning status gradually returned to the right track.
It is impossible to say no anxiety. There are two main aspects. First, I look at the new characters in the news every day, and look at the empty campus and streets through the window, and I have an unspeakable taste in my heart, especially afraid of being infected. Wear a mask even if you go to the toilet, disinfect the whole body with alcohol before going back to the dormitory, and spray the soles emphatically. These are all external manifestations of your inner tension. Secondly, I feel anxious about my studies. Although online classes will not delay class hours, there is still a big difference between face-to-face communication with teachers and screen-to-screen communication. I wanted to go to the office to consult my teacher, but now I can only consult by phone.
Fortunately, our dormitory area has been very safe and no positive cases have been found, but everyone is still very cautious. Although sealed in the dormitory, my roommates and I both chose to refuse to lie flat. On the one hand, we attend classes on time, do our homework carefully, and don't fall behind in school; On the other hand, we also use our spare time to exercise together in the dormitory. Some students have practiced calligraphy, and some students have signed up as volunteers ... In short, we are overcoming difficulties with a busy and upward attitude.
We divide the arrangement of antigen and nucleic acid into several stages. At first, the antigen was once a day, and the nucleic acid was once a few days. Now it becomes antigen and nucleic acid once a day. Only when the antigen is negative can you go downstairs to do nucleic acid. Orderly normalization detection also adds a lot of security to our hearts.
Now, the sunshine is getting more and more dazzling every day, and the new figures on the news are getting less and less every day. We all have a sense of pleasure in seeing the dawn. The holiday is just around the corner, and some students are going to leave Shanghai for their hometown. This spring is destined to be an unforgettable time for us for a long time to come. Fortunately, we all carry it.
The graduation ceremony was "ruined" and it was summer to leave the dormitory after missing the spring.
Liu ruofei of Tongji university
My school district began to close classes on April 9. In fact, from April 1, we were asked not to leave the dormitory, and the school staff sent the meals to the dormitory.
When we heard the news that the school was closed, everyone thought that the epidemic should be controlled soon. Unexpectedly, the blockade has been going on, and our study has also been transferred to the Internet. For our humanities and social sciences majors, the closure of the school has brought great inconvenience, because some study books cannot be received and we need to rely on electronic materials, while some students majoring in science and engineering cannot carry out experiments normally because of the lack of experimental consumables.
During the period of school suspension, everyone was locked in the dormitory, getting along well and occasionally getting anxious, but after the study, they came over with their roommates for entertainment. In addition, teachers will comfort each other with their classmates through video conferences from time to time.
In terms of diet, the school is in place, but coffee, fruit and other materials are in short supply.
In the meantime, there will be news that students in the school are infected. Everyone will be more or less nervous, but they will have more confidence in the school's epidemic prevention measures and pay more attention to protection.
As graduation approaches, people pay more attention to finding jobs. The employment situation is grim this year, and the school level is trying its best to help everyone solve the employment problem. Everyone is looking for jobs through various channels. I have signed a contract with a central enterprise in Shanghai.
This blockade not only made us miss the beautiful spring scenery, but also missed the planned graduation trip and graduation ceremony. It was summer when I came home and walked out of the school dormitory during the summer vacation. At present, I have ended the centralized isolation, and I am going to stay at home for a while, and then I will return to Shanghai to start a new life journey.
