The total score of the re-examination for the postgraduate entrance examination in Northwest University is 300 points, including the written test for specialized courses 150 points (all professional candidates take part), the comprehensive interview for specialized courses 100 points, and the oral and professional foreign language interviews for 50 points. Those whose total retest score is lower than 180 will be deemed unqualified and will not be accepted.

Admission principles of Northwest University after postgraduate entrance examination and re-examination;

(1) majors are sorted according to the total score and admitted in turn. The calculation method of total score is:

Total score (750 points) = initial test score (500 points) *0.9+ retest score (300 points)

(2) The list of candidates admitted to each major is determined in turn according to the total score ranking.

(3) Conduct qualification review, physical examination and political examination (shifting files) during the second interview. Where the qualification examination, political examination or medical examination conclusion is unqualified, the admission qualification will be cancelled, and the places will be automatically filled by the unsuccessful candidates.
