Minnan Normal University is located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. It is a key construction university in Fujian province, a "double-class" construction university in Fujian province, a qualified university recommended to study for a master's degree in rural schools without examination, a joint talent training project between Fujian and Taiwan universities, and an excellent university in undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education.

Teachers' education collaborative quality improvement plan organizes innovative and entrepreneurial training programs for university and national college students and doctoral talents training programs serving the special needs of the country, and implements universities and doctoral degree-granting units.

Minnan Normal University was founded in the spring of 1958. From 65438 to 0963, under the personal advocacy and care of Premier Zhou Enlai, the State Council approved the establishment of Fujian Second Normal University, which opened the door to undergraduate education.

Later, due to the Cultural Revolution, it reopened on 1986 and was renamed Zhangzhou Normal University. 1992 awarded bachelor's degree and master's degree in 2003. In 2007, it was listed as a key construction university in Fujian Province.

School historical development

Minnan Normal University, founded in the spring of 1958, is a key construction university in Fujian Province and a "double-class" construction university in Fujian Province. 1In July, 963, with the approval of the State Council (Guo Wen Ban Zi No.513), Nanping Normal College of Fujian Province merged with three normal colleges in Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou, which were originally decided to be closed, and the "Fujian Second Normal College" was established, with its campus in Zhangzhou.

With Zhang Li as the principal and secretary of the Party Committee, the pattern of undergraduate normal education in Fujian Province was formed together with Fujian Normal University at that time. In addition to 575 students who have not graduated from four universities, 158 undergraduates are newly recruited. The Second Normal College has three departments: Chinese, Mathematics and English. At first, students were scattered in Zhangzhou and Xiamen, and then concentrated in Zhangzhou the following year.
