What are Level 4 and Level 6?
CET is a college English test, which means an English test for college students. It is a national English test administered by the Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to objectively and accurately measure the actual English ability of college students and provide evaluation services for college English teaching. As long as the candidates are undergraduate and junior college students in full-time colleges and adult colleges, registered graduate students can sign up for CET-4 and CET-6.

The CET written test is taken twice a year. As long as you don't cheat during the exam, you can take the exam twice a year every time you apply, but you need to remember that you can only take the exam once, and you must pass Band 4 before you can choose Band 6. After passing CET-6, you can go back and take CET-4. In order to facilitate college students and not conflict with university courses, the state stipulates that the examination time is June and 65438+February every year, and the specific examination time is Saturday and Sunday; In addition to the written test, CET also has an oral test. The test time is May and165438+1October every year. Candidates who sign up for the oral test must first sign up for the written test at the corresponding level, and it is not mandatory to sign up for the written test. Unless there are special circumstances, it is impossible to take the exam twice a year, that is, in recent years, when the epidemic broke out seriously, the state refused to gather people to prevent and control the epidemic, and has cancelled the CET-4 and CET-6 for college students. But generally speaking, there will be two opportunities every year. As long as you apply at the prescribed registration time, you can participate twice a year.
