Jincheng, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, was called Jianxing, Zezhou and Zezhou in ancient times. Jincheng is located in the southeast of Shanxi province, at the junction of Shanxi and Henan provinces. It lives in Jincheng basin with a total area of 9490 square kilometers. It is the gateway to the southeast of Shanxi Province, and has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times. Known as "the gateway of Sanjin, the first rush of Taihang Mountain".
