Journal of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology is the source periodical of China Science Citation Database (CSCD Journal). Journal of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology does not belong to the core periodical of 08 edition.
Journals are not so subdivided. (SCI, EI, ISTP, SSCI, A & ampCI) are just five different retrieval systems. For example, there are the same differences between the periodicals collected by HowNet and those collected by Wanfang.
Many magazines exist in five systems. These systems are explained as follows:
CSCD is the source periodical of Chinese scientific citation database. Full name: China Science Citation Database. This statistical system is often regarded as a core periodical in colleges and universities.
08 edition core periodicals, generally speaking, the national Chinese core periodicals. The catalogue of core periodicals is published by Peking University Library. Also known as the core of Peking University. The core system is evaluated every four years. There are five versions, including1992.1996.2000.2004.2008. The next version should be released on 20 12.
SCI, also known as scientific citation index, is the full name of scientific citation index. It is a citation database established by institute for scientific information at 196 1.
EI, also called engineering citation index, is the full name of engineering index. It is a famous comprehensive retrieval tool for engineering technology published by engineering information company.
ISTP, also known as the index of scientific proceedings, is called the scientific index &; Proceedings of Technical Conference. Edited and published by institute for scientific information, USA.
SCI, EI and ISTP are three world-famous scientific and technological literature retrieval systems. Among them, SCI has received more attention. If publications are included in these three retrieval systems, it means that publications occupy an important position in the country.
SSCI, also known as social science citation index, is the full name of social science citation index. Also founded by institute for scientific information, USA. It is a large-scale retrieval tool, which can be used to analyze the number of social science papers in different countries and regions in the world. The periodicals included in the system also have an important position in the world.
A & ampCI means a&; HCI, right ARTS & amp；; HCI, also known as citation index of arts and humanities, is called Arts & Citation index of humanities. The journals included are mainly important journals in the fields of art and humanities.
In addition, the journal of a university is not necessarily the core. This is for evaluation.
