Zhengzhou University (ZZU for short) was founded by the People's Government of Henan Province, and its legal address is No.0/00, Science Avenue, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The school covers a total area of 6 100 mu, and its main campus is located at No.0/00, Science Avenue, Zhengzhou City. Modern Manufacturing Henan Laboratory (Luoyang) is located at No.6 Zhoushan Avenue, Luoyang. The school enrolls students for the whole country. There are more than 44,000 full-time undergraduates, 26,000 graduate students and 2,700 international students from 96 countries.

Zhengzhou University is a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university, a world-class university construction university, and a "Ministry-province joint construction" university.
