Reflections on the Newly Edited Comprehensive Course of College English
At the same time, we fully realize that language is a part of culture, and it can best spread culture. In addition, the exchange of ideas and cultures is two-way. Therefore, students should not only understand the culture of English-speaking countries, but also cultivate the ability to express and spread their own culture. Large-scale investigation and analysis show that the core of improving language communicative competence is to digest and absorb a large number of language inputs and improve the ability to express ideas. According to students' feedback, daily oral expressions are not difficult to learn, and most of them have been learned in middle school. It is difficult to organize language to express their thoughts. Writing ability is also difficult to express ideas. The second edition of New College English will embody the above ideas.
