After exit D of Gangding Station, turn right and go straight along Zhongshan Avenue, pass the entrance of the Third Hospital of Zhongshan, then cross the overpass, pass Huayi Department Store, Watsons, Post Office and ICBC (all landmark buildings are on your right) to the west gate of Jinan University. (Note: this west gate faces north) This gate can enter Jinan University, then walk along the west gate outside the school gate, pass the bus stop and bus station of Normal University, and you will arrive at the north gate of Jinan University. This door really faces north.

The origin of Jinan University:

Jinan University was founded in 1906 (the thirty-second year of Guangxu), and it is the first overseas Chinese institution of higher learning founded by the state. Alumni are all over the five continents and provinces and cities of the motherland. Jinan alumni have a glorious tradition of patriotism and love for the school, and have always been concerned about supporting the construction and development of their alma mater.

Jinan University Alumni Association was established on 19921February 25th. 199/kloc-0 During the celebration of the 85th anniversary of our alma mater in June, 2000, representatives of alumni associations at home and abroad discussed the establishment of alumni associations and obtained knowledge, and entrusted them to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen and Zhuhai for preparation.

After the establishment of the Alumni Association, Jinan Alumni magazine was founded in 19931February and published quarterly. In order to further strengthen the alumni work, the school decided to set up an alumni work office, and at the same time, as the office of the alumni association, it is equipped with full-time staff.
