Why didn't Lu Xun write the word "Xue" on the plaque of Xiamen University? Is this a mistake?
Why is there no "learning" on the plaque of Xiamen University inscribed by Lu Xun? Is it really a typo? When it comes to major campuses in China, Xiamen University may be the first thing that most people think of. Indeed, its beauty is also commendable. It is not only the shooting place of TV series, but also a famous tourist attraction, which is very popular and loved by everyone. So I don't know if you have noticed a very special place, that is, the word "Xue" in its plaque "Xiamen University" is missing a treasure cover. Will there be a typo?

You know, these short four words are not ordinary, but written by the famous Mr. Lu Xun. Of course, this does not mean that they were written by Mr. Lu Xun himself, but that they were found in his previous calligraphy works, then pieced together and arranged according to a certain style, and finally formed the plaque we see today. Therefore, these four words are the works integrated by Mr. Lu Xun's calligraphy style in the later period.

But the word "Xue" on this plaque lacks a treasure cover. Is it really because Mr. Lu Xun made a mistake at that time? The answer is no, of course. In this regard, some people say that there is no hijab because it is necessary to motivate thousands of students in Qian Qian to study endlessly and keep making progress. This idea is really reasonable and meaningful, but it is not like this, because the word "Xue" belongs to cursive script, and the word "Xue" in cursive script can really be written like this. From this perspective, this word was not written by Mr. Lu Xun.

But why did he choose words among so many famous calligraphers and not others? Because of the constant contact between Mr. Lu Xun and Xiamen University. Mr. Lu Xun's profound calligraphy skills, I believe everyone knows it very well. During the two years of 1926- 1927, he served as a professor of Chinese Department of Xiamen University, during which he also wrote a book of170,000 words here. Later, Xiamen University set the room where Mr. Lu Xun once lived as a memorial room to commemorate and learn from Mr. Lu Xun's spirit and Excellence. From this point of view, it does have a deep indissoluble bond with Xiamen University.

As we all know, Mr. Lu Xun is an excellent writer. But at the same time, some people may not know that their calligraphy level is also very high! He is also a very professional and excellent calligrapher. He studied Yan's calligraphy. Although the traditional Chinese characters he wrote at that time were difficult to recognize, because they were cursive, they looked less complicated and difficult to recognize, and were similar to today's fonts, so I chose them!
