There is no school called "Henan Institute of Surveying and Mapping", but there are Surveying and Mapping College of Henan Polytechnic University and Surveying and Mapping College of Information Engineering University, both of which are secondary colleges in universities.

Zhengzhou Surveying and Mapping School, founded in 1978, is the only ordinary secondary surveying and mapping school in China and a national key middle school.
