According to official website of Northeast Agricultural University, Northeast Agricultural University, referred to as Northeast Agricultural University for short, is located in Changjiang Road, Xiangfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China, and belongs to the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. It is a key university in Heilongjiang Province, a national "2 1 1 project" key university, and a university jointly established by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and the Ministry of Agriculture. Northeast Agricultural University was founded in 1948, formerly known as Northeast Agricultural College. 1994 merged with Heilongjiang Agricultural Management Cadre College to formally establish Northeast Agricultural University. 1995 was included in the 2 1 1 key construction projects of universities and basic capacity-building projects of universities in the central and western regions. 198 1 was identified as a provincial key institution in Heilongjiang province. In 20 17, it was listed as a world-class university and a first-class discipline construction university. The school is the Chinese secretariat unit of the University Presidents Forum in Northeast China and Russian Far East and Siberia.
