Two years.

According to Article 10 of the Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status of China Renmin University, the suspension period of students is generally one year, and the cumulative period shall not exceed two years. Keep your student status during the suspension period, but it is not included in the school study time.

Suspension means that students can't continue their studies for some reason, and with the consent of the school, they suspend their studies, and their school status is still retained in the school. You don't have to go back to take the exam after you drop out of school.
