Nantong University is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, a coastal open city with the reputation of "Pearl of the Rivers and Seas" and "the first city in modern China". It is a comprehensive university jointly established by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Ministry of Transport. It is the first batch of high-level universities in Jiangsu Province to train universities.
The school has four campuses: main campus, Qixiu campus, Zhongxiu campus and Qidong campus, covering an area of more than 3,700 mu, with a construction area of nearly 6,543,800 square meters.
