Requirements for enlistment:

Training and use after enlistment:

When determining the direction of college students' enlistment, the military service organs should arrange them to serve in troops with high academic qualifications, complex majors and strong skills as far as possible, and give full play to their advantages and specialties to meet the needs of army building. For outstanding college soldiers, priority is given to learning skills, selecting non-commissioned officers, applying for military schools, and directly promoting officers. For college students who have been discharged from the army and returned to school, if they voluntarily meet the relevant conditions, they will be given priority to be selected as national defense students during their studies at school or directly receive supplementary military cadres after graduation. College students who have obtained full-time undergraduate education and bachelor's degree can join the army directly to become officers after two years of service.
