The Chinese Department of Wuhan University was founded on 19 18, formerly known as "China Literature", renamed as "China Literature Department" on 1922 and renamed as "China Language and Literature Department" on 1953. 1June, 1997, it was expanded into a college of literature;1April, 1999, it was reorganized into a college of humanities with the departments of history and philosophy, which is one of the main departments of the school. Comprehensive score of second interview = background assessment ×50%+ comprehensive interview ×50%.
