There are 12 large reading rooms with more than 4,000 reading seats. Every reading room has a reader service desk. The main service desk on the second floor, in addition to handling the loan and return procedures of cross-campus books, solves the problems encountered by readers in using the library, and also has professional librarians to provide information consulting services for readers; In addition, the main service desk has a registration office, which is responsible for handling overdue, lost or other illegal acts of readers' borrowing books and replacing borrowing cards.

There is a computer public retrieval area in the lobby on the third floor, and each book lending room is equipped with a public retrieval machine for readers to inquire, and information retrieval points are reserved for readers to bring their own computer equipment. The backbone of the computer network adopts 1000Mbps fast Ethernet, and a single computer can enjoy the bandwidth of1000 Mbps by switching desktops. There are two large electronic reading rooms, more than 420 computers, a document retrieval training center and an open laboratory. Readers can query various large databases and electronic resources inside and outside the library through the computer network.

The Center for Foreign Languages and Multimedia Audio-visual Materials is equipped with 84 sets of multimedia audio-visual equipment and has more than 2,000 pieces of audio-visual materials. There is also an audio-visual salon for researchers and readers with special needs.

The layout and facilities of Wen Jing Library embody the concept of people-oriented and convenient for readers, and implement the integrated service mode of open-shelf lending. Some floors and reading rooms have also set up rest and discussion areas, providing readers with sufficient activity space.
